JVC HDD cam corder / Internet Video conferencing.
Hi.
I have a JVC GZ-MG50U Hard Disk Drive cam corder.
I am trying to hook it up to do a live video conferencing with my client.
I have a DELL LXP pro set up, and my IP provider is a SPRINT wireless card, at a pretty good speed.
Any ideas how to get a live video image over the net with this set up?

Internet cafes usually are running a t3 or t1 line for all their computer so the gamers get a good connection... So to stream in High def, which is a lot of information to send, you might need a faster connection than just cable/dsl.... but jsut cause u have an hd camera, doesnt mean you have to stream it in hd...i would consider that overkill for a video conference unless you were trying to pitch some new product that needed to be seen in clear detail, ect ect ect... best of luck getting this going..
A T3 is faster than a T1! T3: a digital channel which communicates at 45 Mbps, or 28 T1 lines. A T1 does 1.544Mbits per second.
