My Alpine DVA-9861, LCD screen & TV tuner should be here this weekend. I was thinking of a few different ways to install all of this so I would be able to watch DVDs via the head unit, TV & play xbox so I came up with this diagram..

Hope you guys can follow everything
I bought the RCA Input switch from wal mart for ~ $25. Maybe this will help someone!

I have almost the same exact setup I'm putting in my Z over the weekend.
The only question I had was, where are you going to put your antenna's for the TV tuner? On my old car I had them in the rear-side windows (they were alot larger then the rear-side windows on the Z).. I don't think I can put them on the hatch either because the wire will have to move everytime the hatch opens and closes.
The only other thing I could think of doing is buying one of those really small TV antennas for $150 and mounting that on the rear-side window.

Also, I'm pretty sure that microsoft does not recommend to have games playing when the car is moving. On long trips this would really bum out the passenger.
I have a regular xbox that I'll be putting in because of this.

With the Alpine TUE-T151 the actual antennas look to be roughly the size of an XM antenna.

I wonder if there is a way I could make a TempurPedic stand for my Xbox in my Z
So the original Xbox doesn't do this?

If you want to be extra careful you should get your xbox 360 modded for about $50 and buy burned games for only $10. Thats what i did for the xbox 360 in my car, liked it so much i modded the xbox 360 in house. Now i have 22 games that cost me $220 versus four original games that cost me $260. Go to craigslist.com
where can you get your 360 modified?

There is 2 of them, one each is about 8-10" long.. Very thin though, it almost looks like a wire. Reception was awesome with them in my old car.. I got all 6-7 local channels going 70-80mph. I had 1 in each rear window, this was on top of 5% tint so you couldn't see them at all from the outside.
Does apline sell that antenna seperately? It sounds like it would work well on the Z.
