I have a really nice sound system that i pulled out of my 2003 acura cl-s it's a jl audio 300/4 and jl audio 500/1 amps, jl w6v2 subwoofer, jl xr series components (2 pairs). Would you sell all of this and put the money toward a z or keep and put in a z.

 

I took my system out because of the weight. I invested what I sold it for an added performance. I only kept the speakers (after market) good enough.

 

you have the foundation for a decent system that can fit int he Z...or you can sell it and try a different brand that may give you a different, perhaps better, oveall sound

I say keep it...and if you really don't want to....go with the Focal Utopia's....you'll absolutely love them

 

you can just buy 1 of custom sub boxes made for the Z (Zenclosure's), and get some front speaker spacers (or door pods) and you'd be set.

thats not a bad suggestion, except if he sold everything, he can just buy like 1/3 of a current utopia set hehe...

i think the utopia be 6.5" two way isnow around 3500-3700 bucks...lol

 

le t me ask you a question 16psibrick....do you get better sound out of sealed 6.5" speakers.....I mean is it ok to have them in an enclusure? like a pod that is totaly air tight....or even semi air tight?
