Most people make a seperate folder for each Genre or even a seperate folder for each artist. This will solve your problem.

I set it up like this Music (Folder)> Artist (218 Folders Total)
Figure maybe i don't understand the setup to well.

I have installed the Avic-d3 Unit and generaly it has been performing well but I have a few beefs. 1st I opted for the BT-200 unit to take phonecalls on the head unit but compatibility has been a struggle. I had the 6700 PPC phone from sprint and it wouldnt synce without errors to the unit, so I switched out to the Palm 700WX model and it wouldnt sync either. I tried a Palm OS model and actualy could "recieve" a call but got no audio when trying to "make" a call. (Sure there was something I coulda done but dont like palm OS anyways).
So I'm at the point of thinking to go with the 7100 but wanted advice.
1 First, would be is there an adapter to transfer my toyota steeringwheel
controls to allow 7100 operatrion?
2 Are the 300 units for Ipod A/V ussage even available?
3 Most important of these three is, what success have any of you had with
the Bluetooth operation ? What model of phone, and what about the 7100
unit autosyncing with your phone?
Any help with these questions would be greatly apreciated.

2. They are available, but have been on major backorder. This is a new company called PIE which is now making this adaptor. It is called KNWUSB
3. It will autosync everytime you get into the vehicle.

Also is there a site I can look atthese adapters or get a review of them?
"edit" By the way, the "SWIALP" on search comes up as a solution for an Alpine head unit. Is it the same wireing as a Kenwood?

I had another question about this unit. I was wondering if anyone had time for a thorough review of it or comparisons to other units. (avic z-1/2, eclipse or clarion). The reason I ask is because I have gone around to a few of the area stereo stores (Tampa, Brandon, Florida) and none seem to carry it. I understand that each store carries lines for specific reasons and motives but was wondering if I could get some (semi-) subjective feedback. Its hard to walk into a Clarion/Eclipse dealer and have them talk about a unit they (a) dont sell and (b) don't know about.
I appreciate any additional information. And if anyone knows of a good Kenwood dealer in the Tampa area they would recommend that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks,
POC

It honestly sounds like AM radio...

From what I read it was either the above, or the traffic / advanced antenna.
Edit: Just to clarify, my only sound quality issue is with the Sat radio. All other sources sound great :-)

just to clarify, this unit comes ipod ready out of the box? i don't need to buy any extra kit to hook it up? the reason why is because i found the 7100 on ebay but it said that i need the KCA-iP300V to hook the ipod up to the unit....

I'm interested in the Kenwood DNX7100, but I'm told that if installed in the cubby compartement where the factory NAV would go, the sound would be not as good and not as responsive. Also that installing it where the factory radio is much better for sound quality and so on. Is this true?
