Default V 1 or Beltronics RX55

OK Iam ready for an upgrade, getting rid of my whistler Radar. I know that the Valentine 1 rates pretty high but so is the price that comes with it. From what I have read the Beltronics PRO RX55 sounds really good. I need some opinions I don`t want to buy just the name brand, I want my money`s worth...Help me out!!
Thanks

I have a V1. Love it. Saved me so many times, and it catches radar miles ahead/behind/and from the side. The arrows really help too. Never seen the RX55 in action yet.

Valentine 1 all the way man. You cant beat it I have had one for the last 2 years and love it. There isnt one thing I can think of that is not to like about it. It has what direction radar comes in at. Which radar is coming in stronger and from what direction if there is more than one. Lets you know how many different radar it is picking up.

Iam not questioning the performance, just might be the best there is. Just looking for something that works for less that compares to the V1

i got the rx65 about 6 months ago saved my *** multiple. i work about 20 miles away and it picks up cops about 2 to 3 miles away if they are coming from the opposite direction. Never really encountered a cop that was hiding yet...so can't say.
