Default eclipse avn6610

i'm looking at getting this unit for my 07 Z. was wondering if anyone knows if the newer eclispe dvd/navigation units can be bypassed for video playback while driving? i've tried searching and it seems that the older units like the avn5435 you need to just ground the parking brake wire for the headunit (???). is that the case with the newer units like the avn6610?

and yes, i know this is illegal and i really am not into watching movies at home or in the theater, let alone in the car. it really is more for the passenger on roadtrips.

thanks.
