Default Cheapest way to get just a lil' more bass?

I'm not looking for a heart rattling boom. I'm just looking for a little more bass. My damn speakers rattle way too easily or the audio becomes overmodulated. Just getting better rear speakers? Or do I need to get an amp and a sub?

You could maybe get some line level converters and patch in an infinity basslink.

Amplified bazooka tube. You could stick it in the compartment behind the driver, and loose no room. Not the most thunderous bass, but will give you some bottom end.

I am in the same exact situation. I just replaced the 4 speakers, but a sub is needed because it does not sound right. I was thinking of a Basslink sub/amp since I most likely could install it myself, but would a regualr sub + amp end up being cheaper, including installation?

Just got an 8" powered Bazooka. Not the coolest set-up, but it's clean, affordable and doesn't take up a lot of space. Mounted it in the passenger side, rear corner and it sounds better than I thought it would. If you just want a little more low end, you should consider it. It's got decent response (the small size of the Z's interior helps) and it doesn't overpower the stock stereo. It will also lessen some of the stress from the front speakers, so in return you'll get cleaner sound at higher volumes. I have my bass setting at +2 now instead of +5, where it was before I got the sub.

just went through this a few weeks ago.. build a box. bya 10" sub and stick it behind the drivers seat.. Good tight bass. search the forum for measurements.. If you search for sub.. there shold be a post asking about the size of the stock sub location.. read that thread.. if not PM me.
