I want to keep the stock head unit. I searched and all I could find on stock HU said your radio had to say "RADIO" mine says "AM/FM"

How much money do you have?

I was in the same boat only I have an 04 enthusiast without the bose system. I've already spent $1629.49 and I'm not done yet. I'm also doing all the work myself, so there is no installation cost for labor.

I could have done it cheaper and skipped the sound deadening, skipped the sub and additional amp, gone with cheaper door speakers installed in the stock location, gone with a head unit that doesn't have a flip out touchscreen, but I wanted to do something "nice" for myself. Plus I was bored.

Otherwise get a FM modulator to hook up to your antenna on you head unit. Harmon Kardon makes a nice one: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-gLfWQM6...771&I=108DP1US on sale for 99 bucks

This is the best way: iPod interface for 350z with bose system

I have a 2003 touring with stock bose and it works perfectly.

I like the FM modulator that plugs into the cigarette lighter. This one is for the ipod and connects to the dock plug on the bottom. What I did is hardwire it and run the wire into the center console under the coin holder. This way it is out of the way and easy to reach. Thing that stinks about the radio hook up is it isn't nearly as easy to find a song as it is on the ipod itself.
