What ya'll think???
Alright I'm tired of the Bose crap cutting in and out esp when its cold. Anyway I'm going to put a Z1 in the dash cause I got a very nice accomdation with Pioneer right now. Probably go back to my roots with the Diamond Audio hex series 6.5" components for the front and DA 6.5" coaxials for the rear.
Now comes the major fab work. I want my trunk area so I'm planning on trying to build a chamber in the stock location with 2 8" JL W7's. One in teh stock location and the other where the glove box is. I'm going to seal the whole chamber. then sound deaden it using the EDead paint. spray on some thin car carpet lay down masking tape and then fiberglass over it. I'm going to size up the box by the ole popcorn trick. Measure out 1 cu ft that way for each side. Hopefully I'll be able to do this for each and then finish off the enclosure. Any suggestions to make my life easier would be appreciated.
As for amps I'm planning on trying to use a jl 1001/1 for the subs and probably the jl 300/4 for my highs unless I decide to go the 450/4 route with my highs. I'm going to try to get an alumnipro either 5 or 15 farad capacitor to run it efficiently. I was going to try to make amp racks to mount the amps in the trunk on each side in those corners right when you open the hatch to the left and right.
Ya'll who have deadened your doors. Did ya'll remove that protective cover hiding all the holes and the window motor or did ya'll just deaden over it instead?
