Default What should I do with my IPOD for connection to my stereo

I am using the stock Bose system on my 2004 Touring. What is a better option: Using the FM transmitter or using one of those tapes in the tapedeck? I want the best sound possible, but also want my setup to look clean (With a dock). What do you guys reccomend I do with my Nano?

Also pics of your setups would be nice.

Get a new head unit that is Ipod ready and hook it up (wired), check em out at crutchfield.com the new Alpine looks sweet(IDA x0001, $350)

older Zs really came out with casette deck? holy crap...I got rid of tape decks in the early 90s. I plan on replacing my stock stereo as soon as my 07 arrives. Those FM transmitters also suck, crap quality. I have my sirus like that now and can't wait to get it 'wired' up properly.

You dont need to buy an ipod head unit really. They make an adaptor that will allow the stock headunit to have an audio input, itll be a red/ white wires and you can just hook it up to anything that has a standard audio jack. Ie laptop ipod zune cd player. I have an eclipse cd5000 which I love and used the auxilary input on it. Very worth it. I have a zune.
