Default Alpine W200

I am thinking of buying this unit, I was wondering what you audiophiles thought of it. I'll be getting it at cost for 700(NEW), is that the cheapest double din out there.

It's not the cheapest double din on the market, but it's damn good. I have it and are very satisfied with it's functions and quality.

IVA-W200 here and I love it. I guess it depends on your preference. I have always been fond of Alpine and have really enjoyed this headunit the past 8mths.

The W205 has a dock where you can put in the PMD-200 GPS unit. I just installed mine yesterday. This W205 has a lot of features and capabilities, you won't be disappointed.

Yes, the main difference of the two is. The W-205 has the built in Dock for the PMD-200 port Navigation Device. I have the W-200 headunit and the Docking station for the PMD-100 Port Nav device. The docking station of the W-200 is port. as well. I have my docking station mounted in my arm rest. That way, I can just pop my Blackbird (PMD-100) in, have nav on my headunit and pop it out when traveling in another car.

Both units are great. I guess it depends on how you want your nav. set up.
