HELP!! My A/C is blowing HOT after install!
well... i just completed my install with a Pioneer DEH-980BT (hands free bluetooth), an avic 9 Pioneer Navi/DVD, farenheit screen, Pioneer TV Tuner, and auto-switch rear-view camera.
I like it but now my air conditioner will not work. did a search, but only found someone saying their cabin sensor needed to be replaced. if this is correct, where and how $much$ do i get one and install it? i already had a diagnostician-- tell me that my compressor is not recieving a signal but it works, and the freon is charged fully. i dont even know where the sensor is located.
any help would be appreciated.
my pictures are too big..anyone know a good resizing program for uploading pictures?

i have that same headunit, but its not the premier, its just the pioneer. u might just want to check if all the ac connections were put back properly. maybe a pin in the ac plug got bent or something. im not a electronic genius or whatever so i dont know exactly, but i hope this helps some.

Have you checked the white ribbon cable?
Verify that it is connected to the back of the A/C controls.

the g35 has a sensor on the panel located underneath the steering wheel. i dunno if the 350z has the same thing.
but if that gets reconnected, than everything will work.
my problem existed where the A/C only kicked on when i have it set at the lowest temp. anything else and i get hot air.

I'm with aemjr...check the white ribbon cable behind your A/C controls. that is a very fragile cable with pins that bend very easily....Let us know how its going...

I had the same problem like mentioned above where if the temp wasnt set to the lowest temp, it would blow warm to hot air. There is a small white connector under the steering wheel to the right that my installer forgot to connect back. that was my problem. Im NOT refering to the white ribbon cable that attached to the actual white ac box thing in the dash. Make sure to check that out.

I have an intermittent problem with my a/c blowing hot air. It happens when set to 'Auto', but when it does start blowing hot air I have to switch to manual and cool air starts blowing again. I've had this problem before and told the dealer, but the problem would never come up when they checked it so nothing was done about it. Could this be a cabin sensor problem?
