Be careful buying online, valentine is'nt a big fan of that. Had a customer come in the other day and I could'nt even order him a valentine mount or remote kit because valentine wanted the serial number and customer name to verify it was bought from them.

I own a valentine1 I am not a big fan of companies that will not service customers. If a company does not help the comsumer because the product was not bought from them that really sucks. I wish I would of know this. I truly do not go for that crap.

Ya I heard they are kinda weird about customers and always ask for a serial number. Never really had a problem with it though ... V1 is the way to go for sure.

The only reason V1 asks for a serial is to prove it has not been reported stolen. At $400+ I am glad they do it. When you do get a V1, make sure to write down the serial number somewhere just in case.

If it is reported stolen, V1 will hold the unit and contact the local police so there is a small chance you could get it back if the fools try to upgrade the tech inside.
