Default How to remount tweeter

I currently have polk mmc6500's running off of a 450/4 with the tweeters mounted on the door where the stock tweeters go. BUUt its using the surface mount cuts it came in. Ghetto yes I know, but its all I could think of at the time. So i bacially drilled a hole directly in the center of the stock tweeter screen. The mid bass drivers are in the stock location, but will be moved into nazar speaker pods once I get the rest of the car setup. I have the option of using the other mounts, that go beneath the surface, for a semi flush mount. But im unsure if they will fit. Im hoping to use the stock location somehow. Do you think I could cut out the grill, and then hot glue the outside of the tweeter screen to the inside of the stock door thingy, and have it look clean and sound good? To basically surface mount it without using an attachment? If anyone knows if the current flush mount things will work Id really appreciate it. The way it is now, kinda looks like ****.
