hook that up to the 'remote on' on your amp.
i think is better if you find that radio 12v wire instead of the cigarette lighter. cuz if your car is on and the radio is off, the amp will still be on.
are you looking for a remote turn on lead for your amp or a 12v power lead? If you already have your power lead from the battery run and you need a remote turn on lead, you can get that at the Lighter socket because it's switched with the key. If you're looking for your main power input you shouldn't use anything but power directly from the battery. Hope this helps a little.
just looking for a signal to turn the amp on, running power from the battery, gonna try and fit my kenwood selfpowered tub in the stock sub compartment, should fit. ( low on cash for now, use what ya got right?) Taking the whole thing apart to fatmat the trunk area also, anyone found a "sweet spot" for the ground? thanks again
