Whats the best speakers to buy for the factory door speaker location.

6.5in Components of course. But on which brand speakers and amp is entirely up to your preference...go listen to speakers that you like rather than asking what others like. After all you will be listening to your music in your car.

PS you will probably need speaker spacers unless you want to to break apart your stock speakers to mount new speakers b/c most after-market speakers will hit your window if you have it rolled down during installation (which you should).

Good luck.

Just destroy the OEM speakers and use their housing as spacers. Save yourself the effort.

I installed Focal 165V Slim component speakers in the front doors, and put the tweeters in the A-Pillars. I mounted these speakers without using pods. The sound is just great.
