Question Changing battery with capacitor on Amp

I'm about to replace my battery and I have a 1F capacitor on the line to my amp. Do I need to recharge the capacitor with a current limiting resistor again just for quickly swapping batteries?

Yes unless you disconnect the cap from the system.

When you pull the battery the cap is going to act as the battery back into the entire car's system feeding the clock in the radio, the cabin light, the alarm system ... and it's going to drain really fast. Stupid electrons don't care which way they find their way to ground - forward through the amplifiers or backwards through the trunk light.
