I think the ACC and main power are the same for Bose and Non Bose (seem like it to me, I got non-bose and wire seem the same)
The big yellow one on the big connector (on the left) is main power (from the battery) You "might" not want to connect to this cause your screen will always be on. Not to mention that it goes to 14.4V when car is started. The light green wire (first one on the left, on the big connector) is ACC power (ie. only power when key is in and power turned on) If connecting to this, you might want to add a 1amp inline fuse to protect the screen.

you are right that the screen will always have power to it but the xenarc non touch will not stay on. It only comes on when a video power source sends it data. So in reality if the pc is off the screen is too, when the pc comes on the screen comes on.

you can verify this by watching the screen after the pc goes off, the screen has small wording that pops up stating,

Powering Off

and then the screen goes black

According to the ups site, I should be getting mine today. I have the whole 3 day weekend to do the config and install!!!

I have a quick quesiton regarding the interface. When you click on the navigation option, the nav application appears on the screen. How do you get back to the interface screen?

I actually wrote my own app to do this, but developed it on a desktop machine, so I used the Alt-tab to get back to the interface screen, but then realized that the keyboard won't normally be used.

I think the xenarc VGA are all the same, the touch screen just have the touchscreen added. True it does go black when no signal is sent, but it's still drawing power (the led blinks). Have to test the voltage again, but when car is on, I get ~14.4V instead of 12.4 (car off). So If connecting straight to battery gives your 14V when car is on, you are sending the MAX tolerance the screen can handle.

The Windows Button Takes you to your Desktop so you can switch between Programs(if you have two or more open). If you are in your interface screen and Hit the NAV button the Nav opens, Minimize it and you back to the Interface. Same with all the other apps.

Note:
to all the People that have ordered my unit. The 350zInterface.zip DOES NOT have an Install.exe , Just un zip it into a Folder and Place a shortcut into your "startup" folder in your start menu/all programs. Also the "EXIT" Button has 2 functions. when clicked it will either shutdown the 350ZInterface and take you to your Desktop or it will Shutdown your PC.

If anybody has any Questions about the 350zinterface just Email me
