Does anyone know how to get extra power for my DVD player? I have the Nav-TV setup, where the DVD plays through my Nav screen. When the car is not running, the color on the screen eventually turns to black and white. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get some external power source, so this does not happen.

I would like to be able to run the screen, without the car running.

 

have to check the service manual. but not sure if its a screen problem or DVD. if the screen turns off, you have to rewire it to the battery instead of the accessory line.
If your dvd isn't 12V, the either get an inverter and plug it in (the easy way) or make a DC transformer (the hard way) to boost the power up.
