i have a 2003 touring 350z and it has the bose system in it and i really hate it i dont know if is is just **** or if i have something wrong with it but every time i hit a bump it skips does this happen to you. also is the Panosonic CQVD6505U touch screen dvd cd ect. any good? do any of you have it and like it. it is a pretty good price and maybe i can get it for christmas if u know what i mean lol

wrong section to post, but yes the bose CD player is horrible. I swapped mine out within the 1st year....

It's a Clarion. The speakers are Bose. Replaced mine twice at the dealership and then replaced it my self.

i personally like ths stock bose system. Sounds good unless you turn it up really loud. Just like my dad's pathfinder. It has a bose system as well. Sounds good unless turned up too loud.

 

Nah man it is awesome! I just replaced the ENTIRE system cause I did not like the color of the screen.

 

Yes the stock system sucks period, with bose or without. Just go get new sound at a stereo shop. Thats what i did. Nothing fancy smancy tho, just siiimple.

Sound systems cost way too much money for one and they weigh a ton. Dont recommend multiple subs unless your going pure show but as far as the cd player goes... just buy an aftermarket replacement for 200 or so and throw it in yourself if your mechanicaly inclined or have someone to do it for a hundred or so.

Ive been through the audio system stage and it doesnt end well. Just a K or 2 spent and there is NO insurance on that stuff unless you pay extra.

As far as mine goes (06) i love it. Sounds pretty good cranked too.

 

Having the sub right behind the driver's seat is very annoying
