Opinions on the Fosgate P3 series subwoofers

I am not trying to get into a pi$$ing contest with you about your design vs. my design, and which one will sound better.
Like originally stated, I have a Zenclosure sitting in my garage. It can house 2 twelves with 1.10 cu ft of airspace in each compartment. I'm am contemplating 2 P3 RF's because they work will with the specs of the enclosure I already have sitting in my garage. I am not going to go have another enclosure made. I had a T1. It's blown. I need 2 subs. Opinions are welcomed on the set up I'm contemplating. Opinions on better subs that would be compatible with the enclosure I already have are also welcome.
I repeat, I am not trading in the zenclosure for another design, and my original T1 12 is broke. It is not working. It rattles when I play music. I need 2 (two) subs that are compatible with the enclosure I have already.

For more sound and FLAIR (since you show your car) an impressive sub that works with your enclosure would be the Audiopulse Revo (Audiopulse is the old TC Sounds). This sub is more for SPL than SQ, but it will kick some butt and it looks good doing it. but I don't know of any authorized dealers....you'de have to call and locate one.

+1 on the Polyfill. I may have to do this...

here is my RD alpha 15" V.2 rated at 2000-2500 rms and i feed it 10,000 watts no botttoming out, no voice coil burning handles the power like a champ
RD super heavy weights take 30,000 watt burps

^^ Those are some impressive pictures.
I found another of your SPL designs during an earlier search.
I was impressed with this also. VVV
I believe I made a mistake about what I said ealier. I had the SQ and SPL mixed up. I do enjoy the nice hammering of SPL, but also enjoy replicating fine music/notes. I don't suppose there is a driver that offers the best of both worlds, given the enclosure and power I'm dealing with.

EDIT - it looks as if the IDQv3 is only offered in a 10".....sorry
If you don't mind spending the cash, the IDMAX would also fit the bill nicely:

see this is the deal
SPL cars are as loud as you can possibly make them , playing hertz tones, to gain the highest possible DB reading
SQ cars are for the highest level of refinement , best sound , and imageing trying to get all front stage pointed to the center of your roof like the dome light dead center of headliner
usually SQ cars run 250-1000 watts for mids and highs , and 250-1000 watts on sub or subs
trying to get perfect imaging and speaker placement and hours of lositening tuning and dialing in
now for me i am all out SPL for competition , playing 45 hertz tones with 10k watts will do it
however i want to also have a daily set up that sounds amazing on music and simply KILLS the lower frequencies 25-40 hertz
so i have boxes to compete with tuned at 45 hertz and peak at 50 hertz for competition and playing tones
during the other daily days i want a boz tuned to 30 hertz to kill the lows , this is were SQL comes in basically an SPL sub but with softer suspension , 3" voice coils instead of 4" spl voice coils , but remember these sql subs also have to handle the 10K watts that i compete with
best way to get a combination of both is to buy a
Stetsom 7k vulcan
Sundown 3000 amp
Digital designs z1a amp
RD audio 5750.1 or 7000.1 amp
Atomic 5000.1 or 7000.1 amp
hifonics sampson or maxximus amps
the above amps have the juice to get high numbers on the meter and with a simple box swap from a 45 hertz box to a 30 hertz box now after the competition i can use my daily ground punder that has excellent SQ that gets loud hence SQL
if you want a happy medium buy a
RD Alpha sub
Digital designs 9500 g series sub
atomic apocalypse sub
FI BTL sub
RE MT sub
and run them at full rms
and tune the box to 35 hertz ported
this will allow great music listening , kill the lows , and meter well playing 40 hertz tones

I'm still researching the other subs you listed under the "happy medium" catagory.
So far I've looked at the Digital designs 9500g series:
http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/w...p?series=9500g
RD alphas:
http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~aco...vers/RD_Alpha/
They are impressive subs, but I don't believe I have the kind of power necessary to drive them. I checked out the owners manual for my sub amp this weekend. It's been awhile since I looked at it. I have a RF P8002. 400 watts x 2 @ 2ohm. I know it wasn't the best amp for sub applications when I purchased it, but my knowledge of different amp classes was limited at the time.
