Opinions on the Fosgate P3 series subwoofers
My old set up was a 1.25 cu ft. sealed enclosure with one Fosgate T1 12" sub, powered by an older model 2 channel Fosgate amp bridged (800 watts @ 4ohms X 1). The sound was deep and clear. Very much to my liking.
Recently I blew the sub. So what any audiophile would do, I decided to upgrade my low's. Since I still have more power available to my disposal, I decided to upgrade the enclosure to one of Mike's Zenclosures.
This enlosure can house two twelves with 1.10 cu ft. per sub. The mounting dept sits just under 8 inches. I've been looking into different subs. This is when I came across the P3 model from Fosgate. Crutchfield carries them for $199.00 each. http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...12&i=575P3D212
All the specs seem to go well with the enclosure demensions and I will have enough available power to efficiently drive these subs. Looks like a fairly good choice to me.
Does anyone have any experience with these subs. Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

My battery needs to be replaced, I don't think its enjoying my overkill amp at all

2006 RF P3 12" $100 each New
2007 RF P3 12" $ 129 each New
so 1st of all you getting robbed at $199 each thru crutchfeild
if you already have a 12" T1 why not spend $ 250 and get a 2nd T1 12" and do 2 each T1 12" ,instead of 2 each P3 12"
and 2nd of all if you were ready to spend $ 400 for 2 new 12" RF P3 thru crutchfield in 12"
LET ME SELL YOU A WOOFER that sounds better , handles more power, gets deeper and lower , looks way better ,for $400
i can get you speakers that are way better

If you were comparing it to two ported 12w7's, then Blasian's statement would have been an overstatement...

What other suggestions do you have, given the box specs? I'm open to suggestions.

the zenclosures sealed enclosure for 2 each 12" subs and P3 RF being the choice cosidered , or if you wish use JL w6 or JL w7
and then let me build a box for 1 each 12" sub of my choice
1 each ported 12" for me
2 each sealed 12" for you
and we can use the same amp lets say a power series Rf 1000 watt mono amp
1 set up will get lower and deeper than your
my set up will meter higher than yours
so to throw 2 12" sealed again i repeat it wonlt be that loud
bet it will be like 138 DB on the TL and 147 db on the audio control
and mine single will be like 143 db on the TL and like 153 on the audio control
so if your deciding to lose all hatch space for this zenclosure box and spend for 2 subs instead of 1, and add weight of 2 subs instead of 1 WHY
when 1 12" ported will sound , and look better be cheaper and weigh less

Like originally stated, I have a Zenclosure sitting in my garage. It can house 2 twelves with 1.10 cu ft of airspace in each compartment. I'm am contemplating 2 P3 RF's because they work will with the specs of the enclosure I already have sitting in my garage. I am not going to go have another enclosure made. I had a T1. It's blown. I need 2 subs. Opinions are welcomed on the set up I'm contemplating. Opinions on better subs that would be compatible with the enclosure I already have are also welcome.
I repeat, I am not trading in the zenclosure for another design, and my original T1 12 is broke. It is not working. It rattles when I play music. I need 2 (two) subs that are compatible with the enclosure I have already.
VO(clarifies things)
