Default Which Zenclosure for one 10" JL W6?

There is three to choose from:
-1.5cuft, with 8.5" mounting depth
-0.8cuft, with less than 7" depth (the type S, "stealthy" version)
-0.75cuft, with less than 7" depth

From what i read the sub in question (10" JL W6) likes 0.5-1cuft and needs about 6.9" mounting depth....

Soooooo...

Will all of these work?
Will one work better than others?
Will one SOUND better than others?

Please help me decide... i want to order it tomorrow...

And please forgive me if this is a stupid question... i am a complete noob when it comes to car audio

Get the 1.5 and fill it with cotton fill. You need the mounting depth.

The 10w6 will fit all three of these boxes. I recommend the Type S box or the flush fitting under strut box for the 10w6 because of the airspace......both of these boxes sound identical.

Thanks Mike

For 2-10w6v2's I recommend our 2-10" with amp rack box....This box has really good airspace for those subs....It will sound really good.

Thanks Mike

I am not into car audio that much anymore but appreciate a good sounding car.... so I decided to get a 10w6 and a ZEnclosure..... wow the thing sounds awesome... i can't believe its just one 10". The best thing about it though is you can remove it easily for track days. Props to mlg9770 makes a great product at a great price

I have another question if i decide to go with 1 jl 12w6v2 is it possible to make the hole big enough to fit it. From the pic it looks like it might.

The air space is still a little too big also but it says you can cut down on that if asked.

Or am i better off with 1 10w7?

I kinda figure that there wouldnt be enough room, otherwise I figure i woulda seen a z enclosure for it. But I figured id try caus I have a 12 already.

So a FI Q 10" will out perform a 10w7?

Just curious, for Zenclosures in general, do we need to build support where the spare tire goes to secure the sub box? I currently removed my spare tire and the trunk board feels pretty flimsy.
