Default Changing Head Unit

When I changed my head unit the only thing that was different was the sound, and I upgraded to a 7 inch touch screen. I didn't have any type of voltage problems until I added the rest of the system, but even that turned out to be a bad amp. You should be just fine changing out the head unit first.

I found a Metra harness kit that includes RCA connectors if you want to use the stock amp. I'm not sure how viable this is, but I'm gonna check with Metra.

Hi, I am new here. I am planning to change the head unit to Pioner AVH-P6050DVD. Can anyone of you help me in wiring? I found out there are 3 sockets and as follows:-

6-Pin Socket
Grey
Black/Yellow
Purple/Red
Pink
Light Green
Blue

8-Pin Socket
Yellow/Red
Light Green/Red
Blue/Red
Grey/Red
Grey
Blue
Pink
Grey

9-Pin Socket
Orange
White
Red

Pink/Black
Red/Black
Blue/White (Big wire)

Which wire represents the speaker wire (LL, LR, RL, RR)? Do I have to use RCA to connect to the stock amp or directly connect the new head unit high output to the respective wire in the socket?

Thanks.

I'm going to attempt installing a HU this week. I got the harness for the Bose system and it has RCA's already soldered on.
