Alphared's Eclipse program is VERY nice but it is for brightness, not glare. The Xenarc screen has a thin plastic screen protector that sits on top of the screen. If you remove that, it should solve your glare problem. Here is how mine looks without it and I have no problems at all.

Here is what it looks like "stock" before you remove it from it's case with the plastic cover on:

I have the touchscreen.

It comes with a blue plastic film on the cover. Nothing between the T.S. and monitor.

I think it's the touchscreen causing the glare.

Only when sun shines directly on it, is it really bad.

Yeah, sorry. I didn't think to ask if yours was the touch screen. I guess if that's what you have you are basically stuck.

I guess the only thing that would pretty much work are very dark tints or just keep driving towards the sun

I was weighing leaving it off or putting it on... Should have known better. It was a chore getting the Farenheit out...so no way am I touching the Xenarc...

It's pretty neat though...just not good at dusk and dawn on sunny days....lol

There is Anti-glare Film (like window tint) that you can put over the Screen, But it might mess with Your touch Screen. There Are also Non Glare Touch Screen membranes you can get, But I'm not sure if they will work with the Xenarc.
