Default Help w/ ROEM-NIS2 and new HU

i wired up my ROEM-NIS2 to my pioneer avic-d3 harness, plug it in, and get no sound! not sure what im doing wrong? i wired up the positive speaker outputs on the d3 to the high level wires on the oem-1. is that correct? there are also low level wires which i did not use? i chose the high level wires because the colors on them matched the color speaker wires on the d3. can anyone assist? how can i tell if the problem is coming from my factory amp?
