Default stealth cord/invisicord Q on MY08 Z

Hi.
I have a question about installation.
I recently bought the cords for my 08 350z.
It seems like there is no place for the wire tips to be inserted between the plastic and the cord of the factory harness.
Is there any other around to solve this problem?
Here attached is the pic, any help would be appreciated.

from installation guides,
it seems like it is an easy plug in,,
but as u might see in here, it seems like there is no space

Default Same problem

I've got the exact same problem. Don't see how the invisicord connectors can fit. If there is not enough room I guess I'll take a different route (hard wiring)..

dude, you have some BIG fingers!!!

jk. If I recall correctly, when I did the invisicord on my 06Z, the invisicord people made a special cord for the Z with super thin connections that squeeze into the plastic connection next to the existing wire. And friction just holds them in there. But yeah, show the connectors so we know what you're working with.

Default invisicord

If you go to the invisicord website the connectors are pictured on their home page at the top.

Heh, u guyz brought back the old thread.
I have an 08 touring and they confirmed that it doesnt work on MY08 with stock dimming mirrors.

just for the tip, just use the cord and run it through a-pillar as you could simply push along side it to make it almost hidden.

Default unplugged

Thanks for the info. So are you saying you have to buy the long cord and connect all the way to the fuse box?

Default The Plot Thickens...

I sent a note to invisicord attaching a link to this thread and here was there reply...

I have not had any reported problems with this version of the Invisicord and have only had 2 versions in the past several years. From that post, I cannot tell really whether the Stealth cord was the issue or if the Invisicord was the issue. The stealth cord is a knock-off of my product that just appeared a year or two ago, and I really don't follow what they do these days, as my product and service stands on its own.

If you order this and you are unable to make it fit, please return it for a refund, however, I have not heard of any issues.

1st/ i just used the cord provided by v1, it was long enough to go around from front power on passenger side through passenger pillar to thesunbloker thingy, which is where my v1 sits.

2nd/ the product i have is like 1 yr old, may be he's fixed the issue, or may b i did order from stealth. i cant remember which one i bought but at that time, both looked identical. when i sent the pic and said it didnt fit, but i received a response saying its a no-go for 08 stock dimming mirrors.

anyways, the version i had really had no chance of fitting in. the picture close would reveal that the holes are 100% soldered. hope the issue is resolved by now though
