I'll try another ipod and if its not the ipod, what do you guys think of this? I just called PAC and they said to try it out and buy a new PAC because it may be defected. Ahhhhh its one of those problems that could be anything ya know.

Yes you can buy a 4 channel amp, and use this to drive your existing speakers (except the SubW). Be sure to disconnect the Bose SubW and its amp (it’s junk and will goof-up anything you do).
With this said, you do not want to keep any of the Bose system you have. The speakers have tiny magnets and cheap materials making-up the cone. The SubW and its separate amp is a joke. You should swap out all of this garbage for anything (you can’t buy a lower quality product for substitution than you have in your Bose “upgrade”).

I'll first try my brother iphone after work. If its still bad, new cord. If still bad...well, I'll play nice for now I guess.

Update...I tried my girlfriend's ipod nano on the D3 and it pretty much looks and sounds flawless, so it must be my ipod video that is the problem. Not sure what to do really. I called apple and they said send it in. But since it works fine, I am not sure how they can fix it or ensure that it will work with my stereo. I might just have to get a new one?
