Default Can you make stock BLOSE Sub hit harder?

Just got a new HU. Highs and Mids sound good but bass isn't quite there. I was wondering if I could make the stock sub hit harder. Thanks in advanced. I'm an audio noob but the bug has bitten.

Bose sub isn't really for the bass. It's there to give you that full sound which they are known for. Ditch it if it's not feeding your bass hunger.

Yea, that's what I have concluded after reading all the threads.

yea for stock its not bad, but the only problem is they weren't very smart where they put it. If you go aftermarket, it will be easiest to throw one in the back, but they do make boxes facing downward for that location. I even think someone put one in the stock location and dynomat' that thing like crazy and its suppose to sound great.

That is what I did & it rocks, you can get the stock Bose cover for the 10 inch sub from Nissan about $10.00. i Used DYNAMAT, not dynomite mat

The whole thing will take less than 60 mins. I am talking about adding a sub behind the drivers seat in the location of the stock Bose sub 10 inch, remove the cover that is there, is is predrilled for the sub, put something in there that has some PUNCH, and use plenty of DynaMat.

I used a small amplifier on my BOSE sub until I get a new sub. I amplified it at 40hz, and it sounds good, but the sub has a defined cut-off limit that will cause the amp to short(turnoff) if the bass gets too hard for the sub.
