u didnt tell what brand name and stage they are so take the subs out of the box, turn the subs over and on the back of the coil it should tell u the max watts on them
Since when does size matter? I've seen some small amps that put out a lot of power, and I've seen huge amps that barely put out 50 watts x 2.
Seriously thought, I know you are asking what power rating do you need.....
If you truly do have a JL 10W6v2, then it's a dual 4ohm voice coil driver and according to JL Audio's website, the optimum rms handling of that woofer is 300 watts, but it's "thermal power handling" is 600 watts.
You will want to find an amp that will put out between 300-600 rms into a 2ohm load. I will go to my good old trusty recommendation of a Crossfire VR1000D, rated for 500 rms watts into 2ohms.......: http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...Product_ID=165
