Most amps do...but you usually dont have to change those often enough for installing amps backwards to be a real perk. Just saying...

the wires show more through the glass the way you are suggesting... the amp rack sits so low.. you can hardly see the wires.. plus my amps have a blue light that looks really night.. whats tacky is when you open your trunk and the wires are showing.. or you look at the amps from the back glass and you can see wires
It wouldn't be wise to install the amps opposite of how he has them. The heat sinks would be on the lower end and the amps would be more prone to overheating.

Heatsinks dissipate heat not collect it...meaning unless that amp was put in a box with no breathing room ..really doesn't matter what direction it is in . Either way...I still say he needs some type of small cover for the wires...but I also am very picky with stuff like that.

Except that the law of physics says "heat rises". Heat rising back into the delicate components that the heat sinks are supposed to pull the heat away from will be detrimental.
