i don't have one but from the pictures it looks as though you put it in from the trunk and push it back under the strut bar. The fitment from all the pictures I have seen looks very good.

Aft to forward - the fit is perfectly tight. I put a couple of handles on mine so that I could tug it out easier (and they're nice handcuff attachment points ).

you gotta lift it up and over the strut barand then pull it towards the rear, the box with 10"holes lokks alott more of a better fit and look.

I have the box for the single 10 and have loved it since day 1. Slides into place and never slides out of place. I like that no carpeting was used where it is not needed. I never had to lift mine up and over the strut bar... it pushes straight in, back to front and rests up against the smaller opening in the front.

The driver is supposed to fire to the rear, facing into the larger hatch area. Sounds like you are putting it in backwards....

I just got my zenclosure in today and put in my system. I was actually surprised at how nice it is and the fitment is perfect. Could not have asked for a better box.

Mine fit perfectly, and the specs are spot on.

The boxes are mass fabricated, it's unlikely that your box is any different than the ones we have... you sure it wasn't an installation issue?

I'm pretty sure the box he's talking about is this one.

does the box for a single 10" sub still allow some use of the "back" part of the trunk? As in, the part between the bar and the seats? I use that part of the trunk a good deal, as I need to carry boxes that are too deep too place on the other side of the hatch, the part the sub will be facing.

YEP. The back of the enclosure is pretty much flush with the foward edge of the strut brace trim. That's why no extra carpeting is used on the top of the Zenclosure. The top of the enclosure is directly under the strut brace and thus out of view.

Every once in a great while, I need to put something bigger in the hatch. I have found that the Zenclosure will actually fit in the front seat and not present an unworkable obstacle or loose object hazard to driving.

awesome, thanks. Where do you guys mount the amp? all I would be powering is the sub, is the back of the box a viable option? Im not looking for show stopping sound, just good to the ears, the wallet, and some depth of sound that these stock speakers just cant do.

Stick the amp where the stock sub would go behind the driver seat. Just make a wood board and DON'T screw down. Use metal strapping and hold it in place.
