Is there a 3.5 mm port in the base '06 350z?
Our new Altima has one right in the front of the factory headunit, why wouldn't my Z?
My boyfriend said that is pretty standard on most cars and I more than likely have one in my Z I am "just not looking well"

So, is there one?

 

nope, gotta buy an adapter to make your Ipod work with the car. Im sure someone else can chime in on that.

Get yourself an Alpine ida-X100...it was made for an iPod.

 

i have the IDA-X001 i like it better then the new alpine units, its simpler and a lot sleeker looking

 

Its funny that my cousins Sentra has one , my dads Titan has one and my friends Altima has one but they forgot to put it in the Z it just doesnt make sense

 

they figured that if they put one in they wouldn't sell anymore or anyless Z's. So they opted to not put one in... even if it's only like 2.00 / car over the life... that's a lot of bucks... hence the bean counters...

Why do you think our seating surfaces wear so poorly? It's the same reason...

Even my buddies' Scion has one.

Nissan probably thought, people are not buying S2000's or Rx8's over the Z because of a lack of minor "options".

But still....I feel left behind.

Anyone have a link for that cable that plugs into the back of the stock unit?
