Default Sony WX-7700MDX

I am interested in getting the Sony WX-7700MDX and frequency convertor from Japan.

Questions I have are
Does this unit support XM ?

And where can I get the wiring adaptor that plugs in to the Z wiring harness ?

And lastly, I read that there is a double din face plate kits was available from Japan Nissan for the Z. Is that true ? and where would I get this ?

Thanks!

I am also thinking of buying the radio. I seen the radio in another Nissan and he had XM. I don;t know how he install it.

Thank Goodness! Finally! A response to a nagging question that I've had...YES, the 7700 does support XM radio with the help of a Sony XT-XM1 receiver. I knew this "should" have worked, but it's finally nice to have confirmation!

Try http://store.autotoys.com/cgi-bin/wfp53024.storefront
for the wiring harness and Japanparts.com for the converter trim piece. Reference this part: *68105-CD000 Audio Finisher[1]: 1,150JPY It will end up costing you about $28 with shipping.

By the way I am adding the same receiver and am absolutely thrilled to hear about it XM compatability!!
