Default Z enclosure -vs- ED 350 enclosure

Does anyone have any experience with the ED enclosure seen here?

I'm just wondering how they stack up against eachother if someone was looking for a dual 10" under strut bar enclosure. Seems the ED loaded box is a good value.

Notice the word loaded. The ED package includes two 10" subs which are listed at $90 each. Since it's custom built, I'd assume it's the correct dimensions for both the subs and the Z. Seems like a pretty decent deal.

Yea, they sell the unloaded box for much cheaper. Thanks for input guys! I'd really like to find someone that has experienced the ED box first hand. I'll give this thread another 3 days. After that I'll lock her up.

I don't have any experience with ED or with their under-strut box, but I do have a Zenclosure and I love it. Mike is a great guy to work with. He did a custom 9.25" Zenclosure for me so that I could squeeze a FI Q10 into it -- and it fits like a glove.

If ya don't mind me asking, how much did Mike charge for something like that?

I think this comes down to whether or not you want to deal with getting the subs on your own or just getting the loaded box. I have Ed products for both my car (the 7k v2s) and their HT tower speakers (awesome) and I couldn't be more happy with them. I have seen other cars with the Z enclosures (and have purchased speakers spacers from Mike) and the quality of both companies is great. It really comes down to the loaded or unloaded question. I doubt you will be disappointed going either way.

Yes, you are right. I'm PM-ing a mod to lock this up. Thanks all for response.
