Its WAY to late to search right now so can someone post threads/pics of a clean 12" sub enclosure? I've got a 12" JL w3 just sitting around the house doing nothing that needs to be utilized. I'd like to keep it simple and clean and still allow access to the spare if needed.

I have two of the same JL w3s (12s) sitting in my garage waiting to be sold/utilized. In for answer. I would probably only use one in the Z. I would like to be able to haul more than a few toothpicks.

a false floor would be your best bet then. mount the sub where the spare tire goes. i have the under strut bar box and my hauling is greatly reduced to just a few grocery bags.

 

 

A 12" sub in a car as small as a Z is absolutely retarded.

 

Not if its free (already have the sub), and a very high quality. You can always turn the gain down. I do see your point though. I would buy a 10 if I were to buy for the Z.

for dirt cheap...50 dollars! sounds pretty good but dont expect to have much space left.

lol at kwame and dvflyer. Ive been debating on thowing some 12's in my z as well. I have one 10 in there now but i have 2 12's just sitting in my closet not being used so its tempting for sure.

 

heres my install...2 jl 12w6's in my floor where the spare used to be....
can u tell they are there? amp is behind passengers seat.

 

keepin that spare and using 2 12's i think will take up alot of your trunk space...thats y i went with it in the floor

cant right now. i dont have my car. i'll snap some though. its nothing crazy, just a box with the top fiberglassed and painted...i used to have it with the floor built around it so it looked good but i got tired of not being able to use my trunk.
