Default alternator

recommend one?

just got system, and bought a optima yellow top, and i had issues with the amps curring...

SO, the suggested solution after countlessly rewiring it was maybe trying a different altanator.

/\ what he said! you need a high output alt + a big three upgrade on your stock wiring and... a second battery couldnt hurt either.

Kinetik makes some of the best batteries for car audio out there..

http://www.kinetikaudio.com/

do all three together and your problems will be solved!

Please list the components of your sound system.

Yup. 110 amps is plenty for most sound systems that generate a max of 1500 watts or so. I would also recommend a Kinetik battery and the big three upgrade for optimum electrical performance. If its still an issue, get an upgraded alternator .

I may just grab that 220 for my car! Thanks for the link!

Well, thats a fair bit of power but its class D power so its pretty efficient.
Upgrade grounds and alternator wire and see if that helps a bit. If not, upgrade the battery to a Kinetik then the Alternator.

Alternator is always the best upgrade but they are not cheap. I am also sure that 220 amp alt will rob your car of performance too. There is always a sacrifice when it comes to this kind of stuff.
