noob needs help!
Hi, i am a relative noob when it comes to the audio and I.C.E genre, so i'm gonna need some help.
i want to buy a new DD headunit to replace the stock OEM one i have in my 2008 Base Z. mainly because i want to have an AUX input, can't understand why nissan didn't put one in. it's a 30K car that only plays radio and CD's.
i'm looking for a compatible DD headunit with AUX input for around $300-$400.
any ideas? thanks!

The DD slot in the 350 Z is a standard size, so any DD device you buy will fit there. Your budget of $300-$400 will get you a decent DD H/U (lots of choices).
You should also plan on replacing the front component speakers if you want decent sound with your new H/U. I would also add an external amp, and not use the rear speakers (disconnect the rears unless you replace these with aftermarket ones, and many will tell you that the rears are a waste of $$).
