Default Bluetooth Microphone Installation - Best Location?

This must have been covered a zillion times before, but I searched extensively and can't find it.

Where is the best place to mount a bluetooth microphone for an aftermarket head unit. I have a Pioneer FH-800BT. I would like to drill a small hole next to where the deck is mounted and flush mount the mic there... will this work well?

It would make for a clean looking install and easy wiring. Is there somewhere better to mount?

Thanks!

I used many different mounting locations in the past but I think one of the best places to install the bluetooth mic on a Z is up near the rearview mirror. It is one of the most hidden places that doesnt require drilling. I usually have to direct people towards its location to for them to find it. I have also installed the mic on the driver side pillar on other Zs but I perfer the rearview mirror location for mine. It's just less noticable.

Top of "A" pillar - but only because the cord wasn't long enough to reach all the way from the HU, under the dash, up the "A" pillar, across the headliner to the RVM.

I went up the nav cubby, across the dash/base of the windshield and up the driver's side A-pillar. I made sure to have it as close to the corner between the A-pillar and windshield as possible so that you can't see it when you face forward. (Can't stand anything obstructing my field of vision).

Called a bunch of people and confirmed that it sounded clear.
