I'm going today to buy the Pioneer AVH-p4000dvd. Need to know though if when I install it will the Bose subwoofer component quit working? Or how is that thing even wired?
but to answer you, if you use the right harnesses for the job, everything should work properly.

There is a ton of knowledge on this subject if you just do a search. You can find out exactly what parts / labor is needed to do this job. The job is simple you just need the right know how in advance.

well I've done the car audio on both my trucks, my civic, and my chevelle. But I didn't quite know how the sub in there was wired to the head unit. But I'm going to remove/replace it anyways in about a month so I'm just gonna sit on the head unit for now. Store's wanted 100$+ to install so I balked and walked away.
