Default USA SPEC PA11-NIS help

can anyone help with installing this for the car. i searched and only found this link but all that necessary?

Are you stuck or are you wondering if thats all you need to install that item on your car?

yes that is what you need to do to install it in the back of the stock radio. mine had the option in the back for satellite radio so it goes through that connection in mine.

no i am wondering if thats correct, that i have to take the whole center console out

Yes, you do. Or at least take it out enough to get to the back of the radio.

As you can see from all the images, the radio is mounted to the back of the bezel. So unless your hands are small enough to reach under the white AC control box and then be able to remove the wire harnesses, yes you do need to remove the bezel.

It's 6 screws, don't sweat it. I would be amazed if it takes longer than 90 seconds to have it out.

No you dont have to take the hole center consol out only the one that goes around the shifter and make your way up from there

I tried that when I was installing mine. It was much easier to pull the whole thing out just enough so I could see what I was doing.

That is probably why he said it was such a pain to install in another post about the unit! Just take the damn console out.
