Default Losing XM?

I was on Crutchfield searching for different CD receivers, and it seems like I would lose XM capability if I replace stock Z radio. Is this true for all CD receivers? If I wanted to listen to FM, would I need to install a separate radio?

its a module for different things.

Like if you get a f700bt, you need a module that attaches to the unit to pick up the xm.
You also need a cable that you buy seperately to attach your ipod.
