Default Raamat BXT/MLC

So I have heard only great things about Raamat BXT and seeing as you get a lot more for your money, it seems like a great deal. I have however heard very little about Raamat MLC which is supposed to be a sort of sound barrier. My Z seems to be extremely loud (road noise) and I definitely want to cut down on the road noise before I put a new system in my car. Any comments on it. LLP is WAY to expensive so it looks like its going to be BXT or nothing :/ BTW MLC is only $.85 per sq ft while BXT is $1.90 per sq ft which seems sorta weird.

Thanks for any input,
Sean

Never used such a product, but for example, MLC is similar to Overkill (not overkill PRO). You would probably still want some mat based products to go down first, then put MLC on top.

I thought MLC would compare to Luxury Liner.

No, its overkill. Actually the specs are pretty identical to overkill. Secondskinaudio says on there website that these products dont work that well, they only sell them because other companies do...

Maybe look at Luxury Liner (non pro)..

I have used neither, eventually I might order some luxury liner... Maybe....

Ya its just SO expensive for LLP. I could double up and use 2 layers of MLC and it would still be a lot cheaper than LLP.

Ya, its expensive. Talk to ant at Secondskin audio and get his opinion on that.... MLC/Overkill might not work as well as luxury liner pro or even luxury liner (non pro) even with many layers, but I am not sure

They also could be saying MLC/Overkill doesnt work as well because its cheaper, so they can sell you LL/LL Pro to make more money, not sure...

Gotta find someone thats used both...

Only thing I know is I have used Spectrum and Damplifier, and both are excellent products
