Default custom enclosure question

So my Z is in the body shop recovering from key damage and I'm slightly on the broke end. I have two hold 10s and an old amp from my previous car and have about a 50-70$ budget to work with putting them in. I can get all the cables for about 10-15$ which leaves me about 50-60$ to build an enclosure. I was looking at making a mock up of the Zenclosure since I can't afford it, has anyone tried this before? I know it wont be as precisely made but its what i can afford.

has anyone tried this or willing to measure there Z or enclosure as mine is in the shop

I did a quick search and didnt see a DIY or even a build a box thread so i figured i'd ask.

also i wouldn't mind putting up a DIY i dont know how the rules are since zenclosures sponsors i believe.

if i am violating and rule due to the sponsor please tell me and i'll stop this thread.

And also please don't take this as me trying to take credit away from Zenclosure, they have a awesome product and I would much rather have one but the budget don't fit.

Wait until you have the funds to do it right. Dont rush to throw any old thing together and then have it break on you, or sound terrible because then youd be in the hole $70, and also need another enclosure. Just wait til you have the funds for the type of enclosure you want, and you can even find them used on here.

It's not that innovative of a design. Just use your head and you'll come up with the design. Just be sure to calculate the optimal air space required for your subs.

i know its not a hard build, i made my old box but it was a normal box. the thing is i have no car for a week and a half while its in the body shop. that is why i was asking if anyone had measurements already for attempting to make one.

thank you... that is very useful... until you count shipping as well. for that i give the money directly to zenclosures and support the person who i feel deserves it.

thank those of you who helped..

As much as you think that the zenclosure is expensive, it's cheap compared to the cost of your time, design, and the supplies. Unless you are really good with building customize box or just want a 2-3 day challenge, then go for it.
