bump for answer? is the nav dvd player 1 din? and for you who own a car with nav, does the player have a separate bezel/trim piece that helps with fitment? maybe it could be purchased on mynismo?

I think your only real option is to get a DVD player and tuck it away in the glox box behind the seat, and run RCA cables to a 7" Screen. OR you can replace the factory sterio with a single or double DIN DVD player/Head Unit such as these for cheap and simply run RCA jacks out the stereo into the screen above it. The cubby is not deep enough to hold anything like a DVD Headunit, a GPS yes, but think of how big in diameter a DVD is, add other components and there's no way anything would fit in there.

I recommend you get a DVD Player HU that you can run RCA jacks into one of these

In my second stereo build I was running a second DVD player in place of the upper cubby behind the passenger seat. I had it hooked up to a NAV-TV module and watched DVDs off of my OEM navigation screen. I don't have any pictures of this setup, at least not of the DVD player itself but it was the same size as the OEM navigation DVD player.

I actually still have the brackets and finisher that I purchased for the second DVD player. Let me know if you are interested in them.

well then explain how they get the navigation dvd rom in there, it holds 1 din. so a 1 din dvd player thats standalone, no power to speakers just outputs, fits. my question is how to mount it, which appears to be answered below...

Kwame,

If Chris doesn't want these, let me know what you want for them. I am not going to do this anytime soon, but it will be nice to have these when I do. Thanks!

I have a 2004, I bought a the cubby for a 2003 model, because it has more room, mounted it in the cubby, and ran the audio/video cables down to my Kenwood double din. Now I can navigate on the Kenwood and also watch videos from the screem about.
