Default Alarm LED just stays on! Help, Please!

Hi everyone, I was hoping someone can possibly help me with a simple solution to my factory red LED which just stays on at all times, even when driving. I just want it to blink again when armed! I already tried replacing the LED but no luck.

-by the way the factory alarm it's self does sound off when triggered by the opening of a door.

According to the owners manual...

Security indicator light
This light blinks whenever the ignition switch is in
the LOCK, OFF or ACC position. This function
indicates the security system equipped on the
vehicle is operational.
If the Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System (NVIS)
is malfunctioning, this light will remain on while
the ignition key is in the ON position.
If the light still remains on and/or the
engine will not start, see your NISSAN
dealer for Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System
service as soon as possible.
Please
bring all NVIS keys that you have when
visiting your NISSAN dealer for service.

Wow, so it more serious than I ever would've thought. Thanks DavesZ#3, you saved me from a future headache. I’m going to take to the dealer asap.

I think he wants you to find the closest dealer to him and schedule a appointment for him.

If you've read through this thread, this is a problem that will need a Nissan tech with a CONSULT diagnostic device. Go to a Nissan dealer in Hong Kong to get it diagnosed and repaired.
