What ipod adapter will I need for Avic D2?

will that one work, or should I spend the extra bucks on a brand one?

i dont have any experience with that one, but I do have the one made by Pioneer.. i forgot what it was called.. but it had the same outlet as the thing you've linked, except the Pioneer one has a box (ballast?) where all the circuit board, etc. is. It locks out your ipod so you cant control it through the ipod keys, so you'd have to use the joystick on the d2, but it DOES charge the ipod while playing it. There are 2 options to bypassing it, one of which is permanant. The only problem with the ipod plug that I am using is that its not compatible with the iphone. I'm actually planning to get rid of it, since I only listen to the radio now.. but I'm just too lazy to remove the center console, etc. I'll let you know when i find out what the model # is.
