Default Installing my hu, are these 2 wires soldered together?

The one coming from the hu adapter is orange with white stripes, and the one in the PAC ROEM-NIS2 is solid orange. Are they connected together, or not? Theres no orange/white in the PAC ROEM-NIS2.

Thanks in advanced.

That is what I did with mine. Allows the screen to auto-dim when the headlights are on (can also be overridden on my particular head unit).

I would just conect it to the other one, it will help reduce the light that the head unit produces at night.
