Default Rearview Mirror Plug

I just purchased an invisicord and a Blendmount for my Passport 8500.

Mount is great, but after trying to install the invisicord and reviewing the posts here regarding the invisicord, it became apparent the there just is not enough space in the plug/harness to simply "gently, yet firmly push the plugs into place".

I was shipped the standard cord but I did ordered the micro version yesterday from invisicord directly. I am unsure if the microversion will be any easier to install since the clearances are so tight in the plug.

One post mentioned "prying the plug" apart, but given the expensive nature of fixing a screw up I am looking for instructions on how to "pry" it apart.

I have an 08 Touring.

Thanks, and yes I used the search function.

Not sure if this will help, but I have been using the Invisicord on my '06 Grand Touring. I believe it is the micro version. It works fine, but I had to use a small zip tie to secure it so it wouldn't come loose.

Default Not Sure

From what I can gather regarding the plug in question is that in 07-08 the plug is slightly different than previous Z's. This may be incorrect info but that's what I'm leaning towards.

If push comes to shove I will just tap the wires as they are, loop the wires and then cover in heat shrink.
