Hi guys:
I did a search but nothing of this sort has come up.
I had a shop install my system, which includes a used Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD with the correct iPod cables. I can hook up my iPod, and the HU switches to the "iPod interface" which shows its recognition. My iPod also shows that is charging as well:
Here's the problem: none of the iPods will show the "Pioneer" home screen on it that I know the units are supposed to display. I can't control the iPod, then it pops the Error-11 message. It's like the iPod doesnt even recognize the HU..
It's showing an "Error-11" message, which the manual says means that the iPod connection is not sound. I have tried resetting the iPod, as well as multiple iPods and iPhones.
Any thoughts or possible solutions? I scoured the manual and the HU menus to no avail. Any advice or opinions is appreciated!
